Parent Newsletter: March 2012
We are so excited for this month! We will be covering “Apologetics” Which is simply how to give a defense for your faith. So many of us believe things but do not even know why we actually believe it or how to back it up. We know that our teens will be faced with these questions and we wish to have them actually have an answer for the critics. We are actually called to give a defense 1 Corinthians 9:3 “My defense to those who examine me is this”. We desire that your teens are full of knowledge and able to back it up. Scripturally and Historically!
Events:
Talent Show
March 10
7pm
This is a church wide event that is completely free to attend! We used to do this at the old building but we are bringing it back! It has been a blast each time it has been put on. This event is serving as a fundraiser for the Youth. This means that there will be a baked goods auction, love offering and fees for acts. Please come out and enjoy the talents we have here at His Tabernacle Family Church.
Parent Appreciation Dinner
Friday, April 13th
7pm
This will be completely free as well to attend! We owe you guys a big thank you for transporting your teens back and forth, allowing us to invest into their lives and being faithful. We are so thankful for you and would like to show you that as well. There will be a postcard sent out. Please RSVP after receiving!
Prayer
The 1st and 3rd week of every month we will be having prayer
8pm until 9pm
We need to be in prayer as a body. This is not just for youth. We want to open it up for anyone and everyone that would like to pray for the body and kingdom of God.
