Institute at His Tabernacle

 There
are many Bible Institutes saturating our country and
every one of them is impacting the next generation
of preachers in some dimension. After completing
Bible College and entering into the world of "real
ministry", Pastor Spencer was shocked to realize he
had been prepared with knowledge but not
practicality. The college was a good academic
opportunity, but there is a necessity to glean in
our formative years more than just knowledge
– that is, the ability to use
it correctly.
As a young Senior Pastor of a Church, Pastor
Spencer realized that even the denomination he was with was not going to
teach the Spiritual principles of the supernatural. The Word of God says in
2 Cor. 3:6: "Who also hath made us able
ministers of the New Testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for
the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life". It is not the academia
only;
it must be mingled with the practicality of
ministry further coupled with an understanding of the supernatural power of
God. This place called earth does not need any more preachers!
It needs men and woman of God who have been trained to move not only
in Word, but also in power.
With this burning in Pastor Spencer's heart, the
Spirit birthed a vision to launch a Bible
Institute to train men and woman who will dent
and destroy the devil's desires. A team of
powerful ministers who will not only know the
Word of God, but also understand practically how
to convey what they know. Pastor Spencer calls
it, "real ministry". It is not a pompous,
greater-than
attitude but a servant's
heart
– one that can minister the reality of Christ
in practical
ways.
The Freedom Bible Institutes opened its doors in
the fall semester of 2001. We are excited to watch the hand of God take the
same beginnings and develop them into His plan fulfilled. If you would like
